As a local community kindergarten, our priority is to build relationships – between staff and children, staff and families; between the families in each group and together as a whole.  We also value our strong partnerships with organisations outside the kindergarten, particularly within the City of Stonnington.

We have worked hard to build and maintain these partnerships with organisations such as local primary schools working with prep/foundation teachers to ensure smoother transitions for our 4-year-old group to school.  Our teaching staff are involved in the running of the local teacher network, in collaboration with Malvern Primary School.  In 2017, Malvern Memorial Kindergarten children exhibited their artwork at the St Joseph’s Primary School, Malvern, Art Show.

We have connections to the Victorian Tennis Academy located in Union Street, Armadale, who are great supporters of the kindergarten through an Annual MMK Family Tennis Day and lessons for our children; Cubbyhouse Canteen; Susie Russo, our dance teacher has been coming to the kindergarten for 10 years; local butchers such as Bouchiers, who supply sausages for our BBQs; Brumby’s and Baker’s Delight who supply dough for our Hot Cross Buns; Mint Dental who visit the children to talk about dental hygiene; Malvern Library for story time; and many other businesses who support our kindergarten in multiple ways.
