    Sarah’s deep and diverse experience in the education sector has been shaped by her work across multiple age groups and her steady belief in the significance of early childhood learning. Over time, she has become known as an exemplary teacher and thoughtful leader—someone who meets each child with patience, fun, curiosity, and genuine respect. With a Bachelor of Education (Honours), she brings strong pedagogical knowledge and a calm, relational approach to her role at MMK.

    In her leadership, Sarah blends professionalism with warmth. She values environments where children feel safe, confident, resilient, and inspired to explore, and she supports educators through steady guidance, reflective dialogue, and a shared commitment to high quality practice. As MMK’s Director, Nominated Supervisor, an Educational Leader, she works to ensure that each child’s learning is enriched by meaningful relationships, thoughtful planning, and a rich playbased curriculum.

    Outside of work, Sarah enjoys cups of tea and coffee, spending time with her family, visiting parks, baking, and relaxing with the occasional Nintendo game.

    Across her career, El has become known as an exemplary teacher - nurturing, respectful, and deeply committed to creating a sense of community with the children, families and the MMK team. She brings a sense of warmth, playfulness, and gentle energy to the kindergarten—an approach that has shaped her years of teaching in community kindergarten settings.

    She holds a Master of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood), grounding her practice in a strong understanding of children’s development and the vital role of social and emotional learning in building confidence and resilience. El is attentive to the many ways children experience the world, incorporating varied learning styles to support the children multiple intelligences, supporting them with regulation and joyful exploration.

    She loves the children to feel empowered as active citizens in their kindergarten community, involving them in decision-making regarding the direction of the programme, inviting the children to feel empowered to have a voice, to think critically about the world in which they live and how they can be kind and caring to the land, animals and each other.

    Outside of work, El enjoys going for runs, baking, learning French, playing chess, reading, watching SBS, European travel and of course spending time with her husband and their two children.

    Deniese brings a warm and gentle presence to the 3-year-old group and kindergarten supported by her strong theoretical knowledge and practical application of early childhood development theories and critically reflective teaching approach that guides her practice.

    With a Master of Teaching ( Early childhood Education) and 4 years of teaching experience across sessional kindergarten and early years kindergarten services, she fosters children’s wholistic learning and development through social play and everyday real-life experiences. These observations guide her to create inclusive and differentiated learning experiences and environments that feel purposeful and responsive to each child’s learning capabilities and needs. Deniese is intentional in how she creates a nurturing space guided with a slow-paced approach to empower children to confidently and safely build relationships, develop curiosity and explore their world.

    Outside of kinder, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, engaging in calisthenics, indulging in cooking, DIY art, travelling, fashion designing and learning AUSLAN sign.

    Susie holds a Diploma of Children’s Services (Education and Care) and brings a vibrant blend of creativity and energy to MMK. Alongside her role as an educator in both groups, Susie is also a certified dance teacher, offering weekly dance sessions that bring movement, joy, and expression into the children’s learning.

    She is our creative source, with a natural eye for designing stimulating experiences that invite children to engage in. Attentive and imaginative, Susie encourages children to dive deeply into their ideas, experiment with materials, and express themselves with confidence. Her approach helps children discover new ways of communicating, creating, and connecting through the arts.

    Outside MMK, Susie enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing with a warm cup of chai, and—of course—dancing, which continues to inspire the creativity she brings into the kindergarten each day.

    Megan’s passion for the early years led her to complete a Diploma of Children’s Services, laying the foundation for the meaningful work she continues to bring to MMK. Since joining the kindergarten in 2017, she has become one of our longest serving and most esteemed team members—someone families and colleagues deeply value for her dedication, consistency, and heart.

    Fun, engaging, and wonderfully attentive to children’s needs, Megan creates spaces where children feel comfortable, curious, and confident to explore. She has a natural ability to tune into each child, offering support that is warm, responsive, and full of genuine connection. Megan’s presence is woven into the everyday rhythm of the kindergarten, and her compassion and enthusiasm continue to shape the joyful, nurturing environment that families know so well.

    Outside of work, Megan enjoys walking her dog and going to the gym.
